The Department of Chemical Engineering offers two ABET-accredited undergraduate degree programs. Both provide a rigorous foundation in the core chemical engineering sciences — thermodynamics, transport phenomena, reaction engineering, and process design — while differing in emphasis and career orientation.
Each program combines classroom instruction with laboratory work, internship/summer training, and a capstone design experience. Students may further tailor their studies through the department's undergraduate concentrations.
