Ramadan Annual Dinner 2023

The Chemical Engineering faculty at KFUPM celebrated the culmination of Ramadan with an enriching Eid al-Fitr dinner, marking the end of the holy month. Held on the university premises, the event was a blend of traditional and contemporary, echoing the diversity of the faculty. Notable attendees included department chair Dr. Hassan Baaqeel and esteemed faculty members specializing in various fields of chemical engineering.

A sumptuous spread of both regional and international cuisines was presented, featuring dishes that range from classic Kabsa to innovative fusion meals. The desserts, a highlight of the evening, showcased an array of delectable options, including Baklava and Maamoul.

Beyond the feast, the gathering served as a meaningful opportunity for faculty members to reflect on the spiritual journey of Ramadan and to strengthen community bonds. This Eid dinner underscored the department's commitment to fostering a cohesive academic community while honoring diverse cultural traditions.
