Biography

Ahmed Altriki serves as a Lecturer in the Chemical Engineering Department at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. He earned both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from KFUPM, emphasizing his solid academic foundation. Committed to education, he has taught "Chemical Engineering Laboratory I (CHE 309)" for multiple terms.

In research, Altriki concentrates on three main areas: biofuel production, biomass pyrolysis, and synthetic bioengineering materials. His work in biofuels offers sustainable alternatives to fossil fuels. Additionally, his expertise in biomass pyrolysis contributes to the conversion of biomass into valuable byproducts like biochar and bio-oil. His third research pillar involves developing synthetic bioengineering materials that bring innovative solutions to the chemical engineering field.

Publication: Altriki, Ahmed, et al. "Assessment of CO2 Biofixation and Bioenergy Potential of Microalga Gonium Pectorale through Its Biomass Pyrolysis, and Elucidation of Pyrolysis Reaction via Kinetics Modeling and Artificial Neural Network."
