Summary

Dr. Elliot has over 35 years of teaching experience, bringing his expertise in Thermodynamics at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. He is the coauthor with Carl T. Lira of Introductory Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics, which is supported by the website chethermo.net. His research interests focus on phase equilibria and physical properties, especially for hydrogen bonding systems and polymers. His principal publications include the ESD equation of state, the Master Equation Method, Perturbative Virial Coefficients, Gaussian Extrapolation, PRISM Perturbation Theory for Polymers, and the SPEADMD simulation/theory. He is the lead author of The Properties of Gases and Liquids 6ed, the Thermodynamics Section of Perry’s Handbook, and lead editor of the forthcoming 10th edition of Perry’s Handbook.
