Biography

Mr. Farrukh Shehzad is currently a Lecturer in the Chemical Engineering Department at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM). He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) in Peshawar, Pakistan, earning honors with a Gold Medal. Subsequently, he completed his Master of Science in Chemical Engineering at KFUPM and was recognized as the AICHE-best student in the MS program.

Mr. Shehzad's primary research interests lie in the development of polymer and polymer nanocomposite materials for diverse applications. He possesses considerable expertise in the synthesis of nanomaterials and their application as catalytic supports for olefin polymerization and copolymerization processes. Additionally, his research extends to the kinetic modeling of polymer degradation and crystallization, further cementing his proficiency in the field of chemical engineering.
