Biography

Immediately after completing his PhD degree from the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Canada, Dr. Zuhair joined KFUPM. He is now an associate professor at the chemical engineering department and he is affiliated with the interdisciplinary research center of refining and advanced chemicals. Dr. Zuhair’s research interest is in catalyst synthesis, characterization and evaluation. His research projects cover the applications of catalysis science in oil and petrochemical industries, hydrogen production, CO2 conversion to valuable chemicals and synthesis of carbon nanotubes. His research work was presented in international conferences, he also, patented some of his distinguish scientific findings. Along his career Dr. Zuhair has demonstrated high academic leadership in teaching, research, and administrative services at a verity of levels. His contributions encompass the academic discipline, the institution, and the national community.
