Biography

Dr. Usamah A. Al-Mubaiyedh is an Assistant Professor and former Chairman of the Chemical Engineering Department at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM). His academic repertoire includes a diverse range of courses in thermodynamics, transport phenomena, and mathematical methods for chemical engineers. Dr. Al-Mubaiyedh specializes in Computational Fluid Dynamics and Hydrodynamic Instability, particularly focusing on numerical algorithms to simulate large-scale, time-dependent Newtonian and viscoelastic flows. His work is well-recognized and extensively published in peer-reviewed journals. Additionally, he has been an active participant in international conferences, contributing to the advancement of research in chemical engineering.
