Biography

Dr. Abdallah Alshammari serves as an Assistant Professor in the Chemical Engineering Department at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM). Prior to his academic appointment, he gained industry experience as a Process Engineer at Sadaf-Sabic Company. Dr. Alshammari joined KFUPM initially as a Graduate Assistant in 2000 and subsequently took on administrative responsibilities, holding the position of Assistant Dean of Student Affairs for multiple years. Additionally, he has been an active participant in the academic community, contributing to the leadership and organization of various conferences, workshops, and steering committees.

Educationally, Dr. Alshammari received his Ph.D. from Albert University in Canada, while completing both his undergraduate and master's degrees at KFUPM. His research is primarily focused on areas such as process modeling and optimization, post-optimality analysis, process control, and kinetic modeling. This research encompasses a range of topics that contribute to the field of Chemical Engineering, particularly in aspects related to process efficiency and control.
