Biography

Dr. Aljundi serves as a Professor of Chemical Engineering and the Director of the Interdisciplinary Research Center of Membranes & Water Security at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM). He obtained his Ph.D. from Cleveland State University in 2001. Subsequent to his doctoral studies, he founded a blown-film extrusion company in Ohio that specialized in the production of HDPE, LDPE, and LLDPE packaging films. Following his entrepreneurial endeavor, Dr. Aljundi transitioned into academia, joining higher education institutions in Jordan and Oman before ultimately settling at KFUPM in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he has been contributing to the Chemical Engineering Department.
